AI Podcast Player Privacy Policy
AI Podcast Player is a private pilot app operated by Youngtuo. The app imports podcast feeds selected by the user, processes episode audio on the backend, and returns aligned bilingual subtitles for playback.
Data Used
- Podcast RSS URLs and episode metadata selected by the user.
- Episode audio needed for playback, transcription, and subtitle alignment.
- Generated transcript text, Chinese translations, and subtitle timing data.
- Operational logs needed to diagnose import, playback, and transcription failures.
Boundaries
- The iOS app does not store AI provider keys.
- AI, transcription, and translation keys stay on the backend.
- The app does not sell data, use advertising tracking, or share data with data brokers.
- Only podcast feeds intentionally submitted in the app are processed.
Retention
Metadata and subtitle artifacts are stored so episodes can be reopened without repeating transcription. Cached audio may be removed during maintenance or deployment changes.
